Tips for Puppy Purchasing

A common issue with selling anything online is the ever-present scammer.  However, bearing in mind a few helpful tips can help avoid dealing with any scammers.  Always remember if an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is!  We are not an escrow service; simply meaning we will never hold your money for the puppy purchase, don’t be mislead!  We will never e-mail you requesting personal information like account numbers. We will attempt to do everything we can to keep scammers from listing puppies, but somehow, they always manage to weasel their way on.  We do not prescreen sellers and are not responsible for those people who advertise on our website.  If you do not feel 100% comfortable with the seller and their terms, ask more questions and ask for more details until you are sure you trust and understand the information being given to you.  Never wire money, never send money to anyone other than the breeder, and never send money to a state other than the state the puppy is supposed to be coming from.  The state will always be at the top of the ad.  If you are still unsure about the credibility of the seller, request photos of the puppy with the current date and your name incorporated into the photo.
